Welcome to My Blog – A New Chapter Begins Hello, everyone – or anyone reading this. I’m Arcade Gyro, a single dad in my early forties living in the western United States. I’ve started this blog as a bit of a cathartic exercise, a way to reflect, connect, and, hopefully, heal. Two years ago, I lost my wife. Along with her, I also had to walk away from a career I loved in law enforcement and face a major shift in my personal health—emotionally, mentally, and physically. My wife struggled with severe mental illness, and while our marriage of 15 years had its ups and downs, it was filled with love and good times. Losing her changed everything.
